Vienna Design Week 2009

The Hofmobiliendepot • Möbel Museum Wien is participating in vienna Design Week 2009 with two installations. Both make references to the exhibiton Interior Design between the Wars (opening on 14 october 2009) as well as the current economic crisis and explore the theme of "living in crises".

The Hofmobiliendepot • Möbel Museum Wien sees itself as a major partner of Vienna Design Week and each year invites young Austrian designers to realise projects in partnership with the museum. They reference either the current temporary exhibition or the extensive holdings of the museum's permanent collection. The aims of this collaboration are mutual inspiration and a transfer of knowledge between carftsmanship and modern design.
