as regards handling the situation concerning the Corona virus, we are orienting ourselves on the part of the SKB (Schloß Schönbrunn Kultur- u. Betriebsges.m.b.H) on the recommendation of the WHO and the instructions of the Ministry of Health and the Federal Government. Situations such as these are also taken into account in the safety concept of the SKB.

Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden
Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden welcome you as of 15 May daily from 10am to 6pm.
In Schönbrunn Palace as of 15 May, the Imperial Apartments and resplendent state rooms can viewed daily from 10am to 5pm.
The Schönbrunn Palace Children’s Museum is re-opening its doors and welcomes its first guests on 29 May.
Starting on 15 May, the palace park is reopening its gates once more to the Crown Prince and Orangery Garden, the maze with Labyrinth and the Labyrinthikon Playground.
The prospect terrace on the Gloriette remain closed until further notice.
The Schönbrunn catering services invite you once again to enjoy their imperial gourmet pleasures.
Imperial Furniture Collection/Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Möbel Museum Wien
The Imperial Furniture Collection is open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
Sisi Museum • Imperial Apartments • Imperial Silver Collection in the Vienna Hofburg
The Sisi Museum with the Imperial Apartments and the Imperial Silver Collection in the Vienna Hofburg are open daily from 10am to 5pm and looking forward to welcoming their visitors.
Rules of conduct for safeguarding our guests
o Group sizes are at present restricted to a maximum of 30 persons (including guide).
Educational programmes (e.g. curator guided tours, workshops, etc.) are available but here, too, with participation of a maximum of 15 persons.
o Control of the number of visitors through the visitor flow management system and time slots (Schönbrunn Palace), respectively counting protocols carried out by supervisors of the rooms on show and by controlled access (Sisi Musuem/Imperial Apartments/imperial Silver Collection (Vienna Hofburg) Schloss Hof and Schloss Niederweiden and also the Imperial Furniture Collection/Hofmobiliendepot ∙ Möbel Museum Wien).
o Guests are requested if possible to make cashless paymentsin the building and grounds, or to purchase their tickets online.
o For group reservations, the previous procedure for online reservations apply.
o Furthermore, hand sanitizers will be installed for usage, also reinforced measures for cleaning and disinfecting audio guides and the recommendation to use the printed audio guide texts as alternative.

Cancellation of all reservations till 31 July inclusive
Measures on account of the cessation of visitor operations in all four locations:
o Dates already booked in the period 15 May – 31 July have been cancelled owing to the safety measures.
o Online group reservations for the period of 15 May - 31 July will be available now.
o The group size in the online reservation system was aligned to the group size specified by the Federal Government (at present 30 persons incl. guide).
o For groups with 10 or more person our Inhouse Group Guide System will be available and obligatory.
o External tours through the Bergl rooms are possible again (outside the hours from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). The maximum group size are restricted to a maximum of 20 persons (incl. guide)
